The ArcheAge team has provided an update on their banning strategy in a new community post.
The adjustments have apparently been made with the EAC (Easy Anti Cheat) team,
“In cooperation with the EAC (Easy Anti-Cheat) team, we have made adjustments to the detection and prevention of the use of said third-party software. This has resulted in a large and ongoing wave of bans against characters and accounts found to be using these kinds of tools. Those accounts have been permanently closed!”
The post continues, stressing the team’s desire to keep ArcheAge fair and fun for all,
“We hope that this measure will help to keep ArcheAge: Unchained a fair and fun gameplay experience for everyone, and we will of course strive to make improvements to our detection methods when and wherever possible.”
