Ascension launched this week for ArcheAge, with a slew of new content for all players, and the Trion Worlds team is eager to welcome new and returning players alike for the major game update. We’ve got all the details on how you can get a slew of free items, from free houses to bear mounts, carts, skateboards and more!
For those of you returning to ArcheAge…
If you already have an ArcheAge account but haven’t played in the last 30 days, visit the Glyph Shop for ArcheAge to retrieve your Homecoming Warrior Gift Pack and your Homecoming Guild Member Gift Pack. This item can only be claimed ONCE per account, so make sure to choose the character you love the most to receive this gift. This offer will expire on June 28, so make sure to grab it before it’s gone!
The Homecoming Warrior Gift Pack can be opened immediately once you receive it, while the Homecoming Guild Member Gift Pack may only be opened if you’re a member of a guild. If you’re not in a guild, simply join one at any time before June 28th to take advantage of these extra rewards!
The Homecoming Warrior Gift Pack contains the following:
- Homecoming Gear Ticket – Exchange this in Mirage Isle to receive 1 of 5 permanent gear packs. These packs contain high ranked Ocleera Rift gear, giving you a competitive set of items to jump straight back into the fray.
- Homecoming Warrior’s Blessing – Use this item to grant yourself a powerful 3 hour buff to help you in your adventures. This buff offers +30% Experience gain, +20% Vocation Points, +10% Production Speed, no Experience loss on death, +20% Honor from PvP and Quests, +10% Item Drop Chance, +5% Casting/Attack Speed Bonus, +5% Physical Attack/Magical Attack/Healing Power/Defense, and +10% Movement Speed. Plus, if you join another player’s group, they’ll share the buff with you! This item will last until June 28.
- Homecoming Warrior Supply Chest – This chest can be opened once every 24 hours until June 28. Each day you open it will produce more beneficial consumable items, like spellbooks, combat scrolls, candy buffs, Hereafter Stones, Portal Pinions, and Labor Potions.
- Full Kit: Spring Stone Cottage – Find a plot of land and call it your home! This item is a full kit cottage that will be immediately built upon placement. No more worrying about carrying construction supplies to build your dream home, but you will still have to pay taxes on the land.
- 2 Homecoming Coins – These coins can be redeemed on Mirage Isle for a variety of gifts, including the Haughty Duelist Costume, Woodland Kitsu, a 30 day Mirage Steel Lightning, a 30 day Longliner fishing ship, Companion’s Growthstones, Warrior’s Medals, Bound Growthstones, and more.
- 50 Merit Badges – For use on the in-game Merit Store.
- 50 Warrior’s Medals – Use these to craft Proven Warrior’s Necklaces, or save them up for a Proven Warrior’s Instrument from the Proven Warrior’s Workbench.
- 50 Tax Certificates – To pay for that awesome new cottage!
- 3 Bound Worker’s Compensation: 1000 (No Cooldown) – Drink these to refresh 1000 labor and keep yourself working hard.
The Homecoming Guild Member Gift Pack contains the following:
- 1 Priceless Coin – Exchange this in Mirage Isle for a temporary 30 day mount, pet, or glider that was once available from the Marketplace. You can convert this item to a permanent version if you attain 40 Superior Ascension Crystals from the quests listed below.
- 1 Homecoming Vehicle Coin – Enjoy a taste of speed by turning this coin into Mirage Isle for a temporary 30 day car, including the Comet Speedster, Apex Squall, or Timber Coupe.
- 3 Extra Homecoming Coins – Redeem these in Mirage Isle as described above.

Special, limited time quests for current and returning players…
Until June 28, there will also be six new quests in the game that you can use to gain extra items or make that Priceless Coin item permanent! All of these quests can be attained from an Auctioneer if your character is over level 40, and your rewards will change if you’re a current or returning player:
- Current players will receive Ascension Crystals, Superior Ascension Crystals, and the unique untradeable item: Locked Ascension Crates.
- Returning players will receive Ascension Crystals, Superior Ascension Crystals, and the unique tradable item: Ascension Keys.
Important Note: In order to open the Ascension Crates, current players will have to work with returning players to get their keys. Once the Crate is unlocked, it becomes unbound so you can trade them or sell them on the Auction House.
But HOW can you get a returning player to part with their keys? That’s up to you! Take them on dungeon runs, protect them in conflict zones, get them to join your guild and pool the keys together, pay them in gold or APEX, or whatever else you can come up with!
And trust us, you’ll WANT to open those crates. Ascension Crates have the chance to offer amazing rewards! Common rewards include Gilda Stars, Synthium Shards, Merit Badges, Archeum, Combat Scrolls, Spellbooks, Candy, Tonics, and more. Rare rewards include Regrade Charms, full Basic Costumes, Regrade Scrolls, Expansion Scrolls, Specialization Snowflakes, Super Weapon and Armor tempers, Salon Certificates and more.
But, some of you may just find yourselves receiving the super rare rewards, including unbound Mansion Designs, unbound Car Designs, Armageddon Pet armor pieces, or even the beloved Ayanad Scrolls. Or, you may just be the luckiest person ever and walk away with an unbound design for the extremely rare and powerful Enoan Galleon!
Crates aside, earning Ascension Crystals and Superior Ascension Crystals can earn you great rewards in their own right. Ascension Crystals can be spent at the Composition Workbench in Mirage Isle for Tier 3 Lunagems, Regrade Items, Costume Upgrade Stones, Gilda Stars, Honor Potions, and Warrior’s Medals.
Superior Ascension Crystals can earn you Disciple’s Jewelry, Bound Resplendent Regrade items, and larger quantities of Gilda Stars, Honor Potions, and Warrior’s Medals.
Finally, 40 Superior Ascension Crystals can be used with a temporary item from a Priceless Coin to make that item permanent. If you like your temporary item, make sure to save those Superior Crystals!

Guilds: Now is the time to be more active than ever before! Work together to gather prestige and guild experience, because you’ll be able to buy some amazing items for Prestige Points!
From Ascension’s launch until June 28, the Prestige Store will be updated with powerful items such as:

The Prestige Shop will also play host to a beautiful new set of glider wings, the Golden Dragon Wings. This upgrade is 3,000 Prestige Points, is tradable, and will stay on the shop after June 28 passes.
New opportunities, courtesy the Divine Clock
The Divine Clock is also receiving two additional buttons that will offer new quests. Once you obtain one of these quest items, make sure not to destroy it or else the quest cannot be continued.
Clock 1 – Territory Contribution: Click this clock once per day, per account to receive a quest to travel to Auroria and retrieve a Memory Ember from a castle that possesses an established market. Receiving a Memory Ember will complete this quest and award 10 Lord’s Pence and 1 Guild Mark. Use the Guild Mark to gain Prestige and 10 Guild Experience.
Clock 2 – Daru Contracts: Click this button after you’ve played for 20 minutes, once per day. This will reward a Daru Contract which can be taken to any Auctioneer.
Turning in the contract will award 1 Secret Gift potion that will increase experience gained and combat abilities for 1 hour. It will also award an Ayanad Contract (Kill 30 Ayanad Library, Floor 2 creatures) and a Dungeon Death Warrant (Kill a Dungeon Boss).
The Daru Contract, Ayanad Contract and Dungeon Death Warrant can be completed up to 10 times each. When they are completed during the 6th – 10th times, they will unlock special achievements and rewards! You can view these Acheivements by pressing SHIFT-Y and accessing the Achievement Menu, looking under the General Tab and the Event category. Rewards for these achievements include Gilda Stars, Warrior’s Medals, Merit Badges, Honor Points, and Adventurer’s Growthstones.
On the 10th day of completion on one of these quests, they will reward a special larger prize. The Daru Contract will award additional labor potions, the Ayanad Contract will deliver a Bound Golden Teardrop Storage Chest, and the Dungeon Death Warrant offers bound Resplendent Weapon and Armor Regrade Scrolls.
If you can manage to complete all 3 quests 10 times each, you’ll receive a grandmaster Achievement for the Ascension event and a Bound Silver Regrade Charm to boot!
As with all portions of the Ascension event, these Divine Clock opportunities will end on June 28.

If you’re a new Adventurer in Erenor, you’ll start your journey with a Supply Chest in your inventory. You can open this special chest once per day for 14 days to receive special consumables AND temporary items to help you on your journey, like a Farm Cart, Adventurer Clipper ship, bear mount, and a Cogwheel Longboard to skate around on.
You can also receive special, extra rewards for hitting levels 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 51, 52, 53, 54, and 55. These quests will give you special costumes, the Lapis Fae Wing glider, a title (Enthusiastic Adventurer), Revenant Soulstones for the Ocleera Rift, and a Bound permanent version of the Adventurer’s Clipper. You’ll also be rewarded with Destiny’s Gift boxes that will offer even more items like food, Gilda Stars, Combat Scrolls, and more.
