The ArcheAge site is giving players a sneak peek at the game's next dungeon that is scheduled to be released with Update 2.5. Called Mistsong Summit, the dungeon will come in both Easy and Normal modes, each with their own rewards. Players can look forward to some great new gear, new and challenging tactical fights and new enemies.

ArcheAge players will have the opportunity to adopt a companion during the upcoming Pawsome Festival scheduled to run from November 14th through November 21st. During the event, players will be sent on a special quest to find and claim any of the following pets: Calico, Seal-Point, Gray Tabby, Orange Tabby, Black Cat, Wolfhound Puppy, Yata, and Elk.

In a reversal of opinion, Trion Worlds announced that players operating/running a blockade by any means in ArcheAge will be banned. Read on for the official wording.

Last weekend, the v2.0 update to ArcheAge was deployed on Trion's ArcheAge servers. However, Glyph had other ideas and the weekend was fraught with issues. We caught up with Trion CEO Scott Hartsman to find out more about the issues, what will be done and plans for future updates.

Trion has announced that ArcheAge servers will be rolled back to the state they were in prior to yesterday's deployment of the v2.0, Heroes Awaken, update. Many players were unable to log into the game due to a Glyph authentication error. As a result of the rollback, Marketplace purchases and APEX purchases will be refunded. The update will be deployed again today, though utilizing staggered launch beginning with European servers.

ArcheAge servers are currently down for an indeterminate time due to authentication process errors preventing many players from logging into the game to check out the massive v2.0 Heroes Awaken update. According to the latest update from the ArcheAge community team, the issue has been tracked to Trion's multi-game platform, Glyph, and that the team is working on a solution. Server will remain down until the problem is resolved.

After two days downtime to merge servers and bring the Heroes Awaken update online, ArcheAge will be back in service on Saturday, September 12th. The new content brings the Hero System, guild progressions, new housing specializations and much more on board.

When the Heroes Awaken update goes live in ArcheAge, new guild functionality will added that will make recruiting and advertising simpler and will add guild levels. Each level will offer members passive bonuses and items to purchase through the guild prestige shop.

During our several hour time window with Trion Worlds at PAX we were treated to a nice preview of the upcoming 2.0 patch for ArcheAge. Bringing the NA and EU versions right behind the KR original, 2.0 packages loads of content and upgrades for all AA fans.

Trion has announced that the v2.0 update to ArcheAge is set to take off on September 12th. Called "Heroes Awaken", the update will bring the political system online where players can take up leadership roles on servers that have direct impact on populations. In addition, upgraded crafting houses, guild expeditions and wars and the usual bevy of bug fixes and enhancements will be released with v2.0.

From now through September 15th, ArcheAge will be celebrating its first anniversary since its Trion launch of the game. Through that time, players logging in on a daily basis will receive special packages containing party favors, weapon skins and more.

Trion is reminding ArcheAge players that server Evolution transfers will begin on Tuesday, August 25th, through Friday, September 4th. Transfers are free during this time period.
