Cheaters Put On Notice in Major Crackdown - MMORPG.com

The APB Reloaded blog has been updated with a post about how the team has been watching and dealing with cheaters in the game. It appears that many accounts have been banned and the team is claiming victory over the three main "cheatmakers".

The team is inviting cheaters to "come clean", to reinstall the game minus cheat programs and then come back to "play nice". IF former cheaters reform their wicked ways, the dev team "MAY let [them] continue in the new account" prior to the release of the next anti-cheating patch. But that's a huge IF as the APBR team is committed to eliminating cheats and hacks.

Clarification: The idea here is that the team is aware of cheaters, even those who think they are currently "undetectable". Amnesty for those who choose to engage in cheating/hacking activities is NOT the central idea of the article. The most important nugget of information to be taken from the blog post is that the team is actively tracking down cheaters and has had a major breakthrough in their ability to deal with those who choose to play APB Reloaded unfairly. The headline of this article has been changed to reflect the most important information from the blog post.

Putting it very succinctly:

You have ONE LAST CHANCE to stay with this game before we go live. Don't F-that last chance up.
