As announced on Twitter, Geoff Keighley is bringing the Steam Game Festival: Spring Edition to PC gamers, starting today.
The festival is set to begin today at 10a PDT, and will offer free demos while highlighting a selection of new and upcoming games.
“The first Steam Gave Festival ran in December 2019 alongside The Game Awards, offering sneak peaks at 14 anticipated upcoming titles.”
The statement continues,
“With 40+ titles featured, the Spring Edition highlights an even larger selection of games from studios who missed out on the chance to demo their game at showcases like Indie MEGABOOTH, Day of the Devs, and The MIX during this year’s GDC.”
If you recall, GDC was postponed due to coronavirus. This Spring Festival is set to run until March 23 at 10a PDT. You find the event here. Geoff followed up with the following tweet, indicating more editions of the festival, and intent to bring it to more platforms.
We'll have more editions of the Festival throughout the year to connect gamers around the world to content you can play at home. Stay tuned for more details! And we're working hard to make the Festival available on more platforms too.
