Bethesda announced the return of the popular Fallout 76 event, Invaders from Beyond, earlier this week. The event runs through May 14 and gives players the chance to earn plans for one of the game’s most powerful weapons: the Alien Blaster.
During the event, players will face off against Zeta aliens, which have been part of the Fallout series going all the way back to the original games, and returned once again with Fallout 3’s Mothership Zeta DLC back in 2009. Appalachia too isn’t safe from these extraterrestrial creatures and players will need to watch out for the unmistakable sign of a new alien presence – their Frisbee shaped UFOs. Once a UFO has been spotted, players will need to stop the aliens from extracting data near its location.
In addition to the plans for the Alien Blaster, players can also earn rewards such as a teal Hazmat suit, Alien Head Lamp, Glowing Flatwoods Monster Lamp, Alien Table, Alien Target Practice Sheet, and more.
The Atomic Shop will feature some new items, too. Players can purchase the Flatwood Monster Power Armor paint and the high-tech Alien Laser Door
