Blizzard announced today via Twitter that they, too will bow out of attending GDC this year due to fears growing as a result of the coronavirus outbreaks. This comes on the heels of Amazon, Microsoft and Epic pulling from the San Francisco based conference, as well as CCP Games cancelling its EVE FanFest 2020 as a result.
In a statement released on Twitter, Blizzard stated that it was pulling from the conference as the "health and well-being" of its teams are its "highest priority."
Blizzard will no longer attend this year’s @Official_GDC due to growing concerns related to COVID-19. The health and well-being of our teams is our highest priority.

GDC isn't the only gaming conference to feel this, as reported previously CCP Games is canceling EVE FanFest 2020 amid concerns with coronavirus spreading. Additionally, Capcom announced earlier today it was canceling some major premier events in its Capcom Cup series due to fears over coronavirus.
