"Vision" Trailer Not Footage of Patch/Expansion

"Vision" Trailer Not Footage of Patch/Expansion - MMORPG.com

Sure to disappoint many fans or even onlookers out there hopeful for a reborn Aion, the "Vision" Trailer recently released is not necessarily footage of a singular upcoming patch or expansion, as Aion Community Manager Sebastian "Ayase" Streiffert explains in a Twitter update, "The vision trailer is not a specific patch/expansion - it's a vision of what we're hoping to get out there in the future."

Also, according to another Tweet by Ayase there is currently no ETA for the implementation of any of the features shown in the "Vision" trailer. NCsoft simply wanted to share what they are working on with their fans, Ayase says.

UPDATE: For anyone confused as to whether or not the Vision trailer footage was actually rendered in-game, we'd like to clarify that it is. This article is simply stating that not necessarily all the features included in the Vision trailer will drop into the game as one large update or expansion.

I am also including Ayase's explanation, which you can find below:

I just want to reply and say that I think my tweets have been misinterpreted. I will admit that they're short and it's easy for such an unfortunate misinterpretation to happen, but I will also have it said that I'm not claiming this not to be in-game content, I'm merely saying it's not a specific expansion or patch (at this point).
