Aion will be updated on March 8th with a patch that will bring massive 384-player battles into the game. Dredgion Defense will pit Daevas against each other and charge them with multiple goals to defend their cities. Successful defense and completion of goals earns points towards victory.

5.3 will also bring the Arena of Tenacity to Aion, a tournament format where 32-players join the instance to duke it out for the last player standing. It is a single elimination tournament that can also become a spectator sport for those not participating.

Each match excluding the finals is a timed best-of-three contest, with the first player to score two points moving to the next round. The finals match is a best-of-five, where the first to three points wins. Points are earned by killing your opponent, but if the time limit runs out while the players are tied in points, a two minute sudden death round will begin. If the players are both still alive after that, then the player who dealt more damage will win. Rewards will be given based on how far you advance in the tournament, with the winner receiving the most fabulous prizes!

Players will earn Kinah, AP or GP based on their final placement at the end of the nine-week season.
