The Aion site has been updated with a great preview of all of the new content coming with the Ereshkigal's Wrath update on March 27th. Players will find a number of new instances for endgame players as well as a revamped Glory Points system, some class and skill updates, and some new Transformations.
Starting March 27th, Aion will be updated with Ereshkigal's Wrath and daevas will face off against her for the last time. Players will find new instances, "new Daevanion skills", new transformations, GP competitive seasons, skill adjustments and much more. The development team has promised that more information on all of the new content will be revealed soon, but has sent out a teaser trailer to start the ball rolling.
Aion's "Awakened Legacy" was recently deployed for both North American and European players. The update essentially reimagines the game to bring "a refreshing and simplified experience for Daevas old and young, promising to create a streamlined and more enjoyable experience" for players. Gameforge has pushed out a new interview with the Korean dev team that covers their philosophy with 6.x and for the future of Aion.
The long-awaited Aion: Awakened Legacy update has finally arrived. According to developers, it is "the rebirth of Aion". It brings "a refreshing and simplified experience for Daevas old and young, promising to create a streamlined and more enjoyable experience regardless of your experience with the game".
When Aion: Awakened Legacy launches later this month, it will do so with a new high-level zone called Lakrum. The area is tailored for players beginning at level 75. The journey through Lakrum will take players from level 75 to 80 as they explore and quest. "Lakrum is dense with both friend and foe alike -- all fighting to gain power".
When Aion: Awakened Legacy arrives on October 24th, players will find a number of "amazing improvements to almost all major game systems and features" according to a fresh announcement on the official site. Developers are promising "Daevas old and young" a more streamlined and enjoyable experience throughout the game.
Aion is celebrating its ninth anniversary throughout the upcoming month starting September 12th and running through October 3rd. There will be three events in which to participate including Daeva's Day Cake, Kromede's Revenge and a variety of anniversary bonus boosts (September 19th - September 26).
According to MMO Culture, it appears that the Korean NCSoft site has been updated with a number of job postings for a brand new "next gen MMO" based on the Aion IP. The game will be built using Unreal Engine 4 and job requirements include using "3DS Max to create character / monster / animation resources for the concept and development environment". But...that's about all we know.
The Aion site has been updated with a new contest announcement called Leave Your Legacy: Costume Design. Aspiring and artistic Daevas are invited to create a costume design and submit it by May 27th for entry into the contest. The winner will receive in-game premium currency and five costume skins of their design. Five runners up will receive a smattering of in-game premium currency.
If you've been waiting to learn more about Aion: Heart of Frost, today's your lucky day. The team has released a recent half-hour long preview of the new content that is currently scheduled to be released on January 10th. The event was hosted by Community Manager Linda Hime and Associate Producer Michael Shreffler.

The Aion site has been updated with a preview of some of the new instances coming with the Omens of Ice content expansion. Omens is expected to launch on Wednesday, July 19th. Instances in Omens of Ice range from solo all the way through 96-players. Most are available multiple times per week.
Aion v5.3 has officially launched with a new trailer and much more. Players will be able to take part in massive nearly 400 player strong battles as well as the addition of the new Arena of Tenacity. Several other alterations were made in skills, environments, glory points in addition to the usual bug fixes and performance enhancements.
Aion will be updated on March 8th with a patch that will bring massive 384-player battles into the game. Dredgion Defense will pit Daevas against each other and charge them with multiple goals to defend their cities. Successful defense and completion of goals earns points towards victory.
Aion 5.3 will be released very soon and it comes packed, literally in this sense, with a nearly 400-player PvE battleground. Archdaevas are charged with defeating Ereshkigal's army. In addition, the single-elimination tournament arena, Arena of Tenacity, will make its debut with new Guardian and Prime Archon gear and Estima enchantments to help customize gear.
