New Developer Named, Free Open Beta Begins

A new developer has been named for A Tale in the Desert. Pluribus Games has taken over the management of ATITD and a "new journey" will begin on September 11th, 2015. Tale VII is expected to last for approximately 18 months and will begin in ancient Egypt.

Version 5 Launches

A Tale in the Desert V has officially launched. ATitD IV is now closed and the era of Pharaoh Sami has begun. With Sami's election as pharaoh, new player-invented technologies will be the highlight. New technologies include Foraging, Aquaculture and Molecular Balance. Players will also have an ultra-sophisticated new fishing simulation.


New Version Coming August 7th

eGenesis has announced that A Tale in the Desert V will officially launch on August 7, 2010. The fifth version of the game will feature new systems as well as welcome back one golden oldie.


Coming to a Close

Developer eGenesis has announced the imminent end to A Tale in the Desert IV with A Tale in the Desert V looming on the horizon. As the game as it is currently played comes to a close, players will have the ultimate choice to make: Who will become pharaoh for ATitD V?

Player Driven Server Launches Feb. 20

A Tale in the Desert, an MMO by eGenesis that eschews the typical combat focus of MMOG's for a more social, economic and even legal theme, will be getting a new server on February 20th that further enhances players' ability to control the game world.
