Though there is no combat in the game, you can compete against your fellow players to finish tests and hopefully be one of the blessed few to reach Oracle status in one(or more) of the 7 disciplines available.

A Tale in the Desert V has officially launched. ATitD IV is now closed and the era of Pharaoh Sami has begun. With Sami's election as pharaoh, new player-invented technologies will be the highlight. New technologies include Foraging, Aquaculture and Molecular Balance. Players will also have an ultra-sophisticated new fishing simulation.
