From today through the next two weeks, World of Warcraft mythic dungeon teams of 5-players can work to complete dungeons in record time to qualify for the finals and a share of $100k. Multiple dungeons will need to be completed during the 2-week event. Blizzard will judge performance across each team's top five dungeon times in order to select teams for inclusion in the Invitational.
Q. Do I just use my normal characters for the Proving Grounds?
A. You’ll be using your normal retail characters for this portion of the tournament. If you’re selected as one of the 32 teams to compete in the Mythic Dungeon Invitational bracket, you’ll be given access to a specially configured tournament realm for your region that will have everything you need to compete (consumables, gear, etc). This will allow us to set keystone affix combinations different from the current live combination for that week, and allow us to normalize gear and artifact level among all competitors.
All teams will need to submit their top five times on August 8th using a specially prepared form. Any sent in prior to this time will not be accepted.
