This week Wargaming continued to refine World of Tanks with the addition of Strongholds, a game mode that lets clans participate in skirmishes and create virtual bases. It also gives them the chance to earn Industrial Resources and "Orders", a new reward that lets Clan Commanders activate temporary in-game bonuses for all clan members in all combat modes.
Anton Pankov, Executive Publishing Producer at Wargaming says about Strongholds, “It is an extremely engaging game mode that combines tactics, strategy and action elements, bringing more depth to the World of Tanks metagame."
Along with Strongholds, the latest update (9.2) introduces a new version of the Prokhorovka arena called Fire Arc, plus four new HD tank models indlugin the Soviet IS, SU-100, German StuG III and British Churchill I.
