After the Wizard101 maintenance period ends this morning, the game will be updated with the Empyrea Part One content expansion. The first part will see a level cap increase to 125, a maximum gold allowance increase to 500k (at 121+), new gear styles, the Beastman Fight Club Gauntlet, new wandering bosses and, finally, new badges including Beast Basher, Dwarf Dasher and more.
Other notable features of Empyrea Part One include:
- Shadow Magic will also be expanded with a new trainer named Velma Von Venkman and several new spells.
- a crafting side branch will reward Revered Crafter status and new crafting reagents as well as new housing items and gear to recipes
- new member benefits are being added
- 3 dozen new castle magic spells are added
- 100 more castle magic slots
- daily quests have the new Heavyweight designation
- more intuitive deck sorting
- Monstrology has been expanded
- gameplay enhancements, bug fixes
