The SteelWar Online team has announced that three brand new high-level maps have been added to the game. Each faction will have a new map with new gameplay features to explore once past level 100.
SteelWar Online will hit its open beta phase of development on February 19th according to an announcement by developer, PopPace. Folks interested in participating in the open beta can find out more information on the SteelWar Online Facebook page.
Popace has announced the commencement of the alpha testing for SteelWar Online. Players taking part in the test will receive the equivalent of $2,000 in-game currency to try out all of the available item mall options as well as unlimited gold.
SteelWar Online players will have the opportunity to bind equipment at various times throughout the game. What the dev team feels makes their system unique is that equipment can be 'unbound' with the caveat that it will take three days to do so.
The SteelWar Online team has released a pair of concept shots that show off some of the battle locations in the forthcoming robot-themed SLG (a hybrid strategy/simulation/RPG) from PopPace. Check them out!
