July Ask Cryptic Published

Cryptic Executive Producer Dan Stahl has published the July edition of the Star Trek Online Ask Cryptic. The series allows players to ask questions of the dev team. Among other topics, Stahl discussed whether or not Klingon missions would be redone, whether players will be able to skip cutscenes and much much more.


This Weekend is Tribble Test Weekend

Are you itching to get your hands on the Season 4 update? This weekend, until 10AM PST on July 5th, join the testing party on the Tribble server as the devs test out season 4.

April Ask Cryptic Arrives

The April edition of the ongoing Star Trek Online Ask Cryptic series has arrived on the official site. The questions come directly from fans and are answered by STO's producer Dan Stahl. This month's topics range from the possibility of altering PvP to a more FPS perspective to voice chat to whether or not the Typhoon class will ever be made available to players.


The Foundry Officially Released

Cryptic Studios has announced that The Foundry has officially left beta. The Foundry allows players to create their own custom missions and share them with other players. Devs have also announced "Spotlight Missions" where they will feature content created by players using the tools contained in The Foundry.


Original Series Costume Packs

The Cryptic Online team has revealed new costume packs for purchase in the Star Trek Online C-Store. The newest additions to the C-Store include costume packs that will make Kirk proud. Original Series Packs include a ship interior, Federation dress uniforms, the bridge, access to a Federation Class F shuttle and more. If you're a fan of the series that started it all, you have to check it out!


The Future For Fleets
