The Star Citizen team was on hand for the latest Around The Verse livestream, this time to discuss the design of the Drake Buccaneer Ship Pipeline. In this episode, Eric Kieron Davis and Steve Bender discuss the technical process that any ship goes through from design and concept through finished product implemented into the game.
The Buccaneer has been designed from the ground up to fly and fight the way you live. No leather interiors or hyperpillows here: the ‘Bucc is a scrapper designed to maneuver and fight above its weight class. This rough-and-tumble frontier fighter can be maintained in the worst of conditions in order to keep real, working space crews alive.
The stream features 45 minutes of the pair speaking about the process as well as a quick update from the Frankfurt studio about what they have been working on.
