Yeah at first I was like man I loved playing Kingdom Under Fire, I remember showing my brother in law after he made it half way through the game how to make his guy rage and go into ultimate beserking mode. The look on his face after I showed him how to do that was priceless.
But then as AIBQuirky just said the boob physics kicked in and I can't even tell you what the rest of the video was about now.
I guess right now all I know is that KUF2 is coming and there are boobs bouncing, so as long as the game is as good as the first one, I think we have a winner.
well I gave up hope on potbs when soe had it, and they let it go you know it got to be bad.
Only 50% of the sales..?
potbs is a badass game.. bad part is you can totally lose stuff if you try to "run the red" (drive your ship thru pvp active zone WHILE you have things on board)... Also you lose durability; 3 of those and umm you lose your ship, plus you lose cannons and other various items.
Such losses in an internet where you can get hosed through just having a disconnect or slowwww connect.. and it is obvious that a game like this wont have mass appeal.
I guess I can mention that those losses become pretty small when you have a good Society and are up to your ears in gold... still losing a 10 mill doubloon boat because your connect is crap... is probably gonna make you instantly uninstall.
HOWEVER this is a situation where the devs BOUGHT the game, and are running it themselves. As a gamer, this means that the people who SHOULD have the power.. now DO have the power.
And in an online universe where we are constantly being thought of in terms of how much money a company can bilk from us.... we may want to give these guys a try; because they cut the fuckin company OUT OF THE PICTURE!
Just for that fact alone, they deserve our praise and support!
Im not sold on KuF2. It looks really good visually but the mechanics of the game seem to the exact same like Devil Kings, Dynasty Warriors, etc. where you have a few villages where you mindlessly slaughter hundreds of enemies without purpose. No open world, no in depth story, no nothing.
I hope i am wrong here but i doubt it. My perspective of Ryse: son of rome was accurate from every angle as well. And KuF2 looks a lot more predictable than that.
That Kingdom Under Fire 2 is what EQNext should look like.
