I don't know when princess leia started being portrayed by women with above average sized chests but...... nice, very nice.

Clearly the camera person was a breast fan, almost no fully body shots to see the whole outfits/booty.

Captain America needs to lay off the pie's and Darth Vadar with boobs....someting so wrong about that mental image.

Why do girls dress like this? Do they enjoy getting covered in more lonely geek boy slobber than usual?

@Xondar everyone likes attention. And when you are an attractive woman dressed like a slut around geeky guys who for the most part probably don't have much luck with women you are bound to get a ton of attention.

The other half of that group is the ones who get paid to stand there and likely don't enjoy the attention much at all and by the end of the day want to run out of there screaming.

yea, there were some really scary looking ones in there...I lol's pretty hard at the "big" guy in the nick fury costume tho...

I'm always amazed at how many different versions of beautfiul there are.

Pretty harsh to say they are dressed like sluts.  Me thinks you hate women in general.

I dunno if it's that they all want attention. There aren't a whole lot of females in comics/anime that dress modestly. Most characters wear really tight outfits or really skimpy outfits.

And isn't it conceivable that some girls actually like this stuff, and don't just dress up for attention or because they'e being paid?

Ok. A few things.

1. Yaya-Han was there and you only got one shot? (She had multiple costumes for this event) For those who dont know she might just be one of the best cosplayers in the world. Was there an issue for how it was being used?

2. After seeing the some of the male costumes i'm hoping there's a counterpart (Batman and Ironman were both sick)

Overall nice but i'd have used different music. The shots werent bad but a few were too close in my opinion. Still a nice collection of vids from the show. Nice to see some of the more intricate ones. Lightning's was exceptionally done. And did anyone else see the lightsabers? When did they make ones that good?

Some genuinely enjoy it. (see enough of it at college) also in the case of one (the best of the wonderwoman shots.) Yaya-Han who i talked about in 1 Is a pro at this stuff. She designs all of her costumes and creates them herself. http://yayahan.com/

There are some nice shots but overall i wish it had been a higher quallity camera. It's intresting to see what some people come up with and while there is a certain 'factor' to most of this There really is some exceptional work here.

Went to the San Diego CC a few years ago.  I talked to several of the people in costumes.   The women were dressed like that because they enjoy the power (maybe energy is a better word) of the character.  The guys most often were dressed up because they liked the violence of the character.  They all liked to pose but mostly wanted respect for the effort.

+1 for featuring Molotov Cocktease and General Treister. Nothing short of epic, but if only their costumes were better.

Darn no shots of my friend and her other friend who went...tho she was dressed as a bellydancer but looked like her normal outfits anyways lol.

It's good to see that most of the people shown were actual nerds in cosplay rather than vapid booth bunnies getting paid to stand there looking "sexy"... As a nerd and avid convention attendee it always felt like condescension to me and I found it a turn-off when a vendor hired them. /min-rant
