It's good that they are expanding the Warden's story with this, I really didn't give a hoot about their latest DLC for DA:O...

I'm going to have to agree with Fdzzaigl the darkspawn chronicals I didn't even waste my time nor money on, and lelianna's song I couldn't give a damn about. Some of their other dlc I liked, Shale definatly, wardens keep was also very beneficial had a storage you can access to.  I also thought return to ostogar was just as good, alot of nice equipment gained by going there and a little background on what was taking place.

For what it is worth their DLC is quite inexpensive when it comes to other games.  The storys are always great and it's nice to see things from a different side.  I've loved all the DLC they put out and sure I will love this as well.

I Loved DA: O, regardless of the glitches! It was a brilliant game that I still play now. However, it did hack me right off when I brought DA : A and couldnt move my dlc goodies over from DA: O to DA: A, even though (I think) the best amour in the game, Blood Dragon was free with the game, yet it wouldnt trade over. I loved Shale, Wardens keep was good except you couldnt get back into the keep afterwards. Return to Ostogar was also good except for a few flaws. However, I refuse to buy any moreDLC for Dragon Age : O until it has been patched for it to be moved to DA: A, in fact I brought the game when it came out, realised the glitch and havent put it back on to date to be honest.

Let's hope this isn't as disappointing as Leliana's Song.

I liked Leliana's Song. The trailer made it very clear what it was about, and I was curious to see the backstory.

People insulting various DLCs is pointless; it's all about personal taste. One man's gold is another man's garbage, and vice versa.

Me, I had no interest in The Darkspawn Chronicles so, guess what? I didn't buy it! (shocking, I know!) :-)

Still, I'm sure a whole bunch of people liked it -- just not me.

The new offering looks interesting. I'll decide when we get closer to the release date.

You know, over the course of the past week this website has reported news stories on 3 video games that are NOT MMORPGs.

I'm confused by this.

Does that actually mean that this website just takes bias on the games that it likes the most and talks about them?

Well it's a little easier than the computer version for the 360, (I don't support sony or any of it's products I've seen the ps3 my cousin has it, and it's shit.) but the computer version is extremely hard, you won't get away with fast beating. Takes about 3 days give or take to beat origins. the one thing I felt disappointed is that they put awakening on a seperate disc, and it was hardly worth a second disk. Damn good expansion don't get me wrong, but dragon age 2 is definatly going through some revamped combat, probably twitch. Be interesting the comba in baulders gate dark alliance was some of  the best twitch to date. Fluid strikes that each weapon carried shields mattered. Then obsisidian took over and it was time for dirt napping dark alliance 2. As they did with neverwinter nights 2. After alpha protocal I think we can all agree that obisidian is obviously a generic company left to clean up fecies that bioware flushes down the toilet.

I did everyquest and side quests that i could find in da:o and it took me at least 80+hours without the dlcs so dao is a long as hell game imo.i havnt even touched DAO:A yet. Its a bioware game most the complaints are commin from bioware newbies who havnt followed bioware like some of us Nwn vets have lots of content they keep making even after the game came out problably keep adding on even after da2 comes out.

Still wondering why this single player RPG is on MMORPG? How much are they paying you guys to post this stuff here?

DA 2 will be bigger but DA O was a huge game in its own right.

I don't have a big problem with this site covering a single player game, but ya know BioWare had this other game called Never Winter Nights going that actually was/is pretty groundbreaking in that it allowed folks to play Dungeons and Dragons online with each other, even still have some people hosting their own small scale Persistent Worlds for free.

And I may be in the minority, but as an mmo player I'm more interested in Bethesda's single player games than BioWare's.

Fallout 3, Oblivion and Morrowind may all be single player games, but the game worlds that Bethesda created felt a lot like an mmo styled world in that you can go off and just play in the world rather than just try to solve the adventure like in DA.

So why all the coverage for DA and none for Bethesda, as their games seem more appealing to mmo players?

And seriously, the dlc for DA has been pretty underwhelming so far. Good game, but way overhyped.

Still playing NeverWinter Nights online after 7 years, still play Oblivion and obviously Fallout 3.I just don't think DA has the same legs ( and neither does Bioware as they're already pimping DA 2).

@Markfromindy there 2 different games you can't compare them.

Im also a fan of bethesda as so many fans here but that DA:O get alot attention is simple fact that not that long ago mmorpg.com started to coverage also solo games and bethesda games are much older then DA:O believe me when bethesda release a new Elder scrolls it will be HUGE maybe even bigger then biowares solo games and it will be covered also here im sure of this.

But also bioware makes a mmo and bethesda still not known what there developing, so logic they give bioware more coverage here becouse of SW:TOR.

Bioware>Bethesda all day. And yall gotta stop complaining about them covering single player rpgs from time to time it isn't gonna stop and their main focus is one mmos anyways.
