Not to be a dick, but it looks like WAR in space. I hope this isn't the case, and the game turns out to be amazing, but I'll keep my perspective grounded for now.

i mean I carn't wait for this game man but ive been burned badly from WAR like the first poster i mean me and my bro have my bro as quit mmos for life he was burned that bad i hope it turns into a nice game and i hope that it sticks to it's roots and not go all WoW or grindfesty

Oh well so  much for my hopes,  grafics look grainy at best no thanks.

The Titan looks good, but that's all I can say right now as I need DETAILS.  A pretty video is just a pretty video. (And it's not THAT pretty) Are we all SMURFS? (40K players know who I mean) Chaos and Space Marince only?  Do we get to be Guardsmen or Orcs? Details man details!  I await more info before I get excited or pissed.

Looks awesome to me. Still early in development, but so far so good. 

I'm surprised there are people that think the graphics suck. For a pre-alpha game, it looks pretty awesome, and this wasn't the highest quality video.

I was so excited to see this is treated as a shooter.

Honestly if this game was like planetside but with warhammer stuff thats all i really want. I hope they do this right!!!! *crosses fingers* i want this game to be epic.

Idc what people say as long as they dont go down WARs road and over hype it ,and just make a damn good game,like they did with the dawn of war serise we be good.

The ranged combat reminded bit like Tabula Rasa. If that's true this might actually be a fun game to play.

Dont get me wrong I love the Warhammer IP, but no one seems to know how to make it into a good MMO.

can't wait, and please never ever call them "Mechs".... i always preferred 40k's universe to "starcraft" et al....

looks like they stayed with orcs, the chaos gods and of course space marines.... 

hopefully they concentrate on just those before adding Eldar etc to the mix in expansions.

stay small, keep it near Cadia, then expand...

i'm an eldar/tau player, but got to say i do have a small space marine contingent.... even if i'm not a fan of the false corpse god ;)

how about necrons? hope we will see then soon :)

That's a decent first look at it - looks like a wise small section of potential races to start off, with almsot limitless potential to expand into things like Eldar, Tyrannids, Neconrs etc later on.

....and it has Titans as well! Just a Warhound there, but if they're in, you'd expect the larger mechanicus machines to follow.

I'm excited to see where it goes, will be following this.

I saw a crosshair too, if right then that could be my next MMO for a looong time.

A news release stated the playable races they were working on:

Chaos Space Marine, Imperium Forces, Eldar and Orks

Tyranids will be a universal PvE

I expect it is going to be WAR all over again, yet another IP to exploit and make quick cash. When will we see something orginial, without grinding levels, gear and copy/paste quests ?

Looks crapish :( In 2 years when it will be releaed it wont live comparision with other games.

Well at least THQ is involved in the production of 40k MMO,IE the developers of  Dawn of war 1&2, being an old school TT player and a fan of GWS. I think THQ has a much better idea of how to handle the warhammer IP than mythic did. Mythic should have stuck with DAOC 2. I do have to say there better be a good amount of vheicle access/combat,that was a big part of 40k. Dreadnaughts,Wraith lord, vipers, speeder bikes etc etc. Im just Glad its Not ANOTHER fantasy MMO.

Although I was holding off looking at this since Warhammer was incredibly dissaopointing, I need to say that was fucking awesome.

Looks flat out amazing. I'm am SO suprised and blown away at how well this looks. I'm such a much bigger fan of the 40K War Hammer era then the Mid-Evil one. And for me, the other Warhammer Online sucks. With all of it's glitches, weird bugs, and boring, been there done that, game play. Because of it I was kind of doubting a 40K MMO. But after seeing this, I feel some relief that someone might have gotten a Warhammer MMO right. *crosses fingers*

Wow...looks better than I had hoped!

Well this one I will definitely keep an eye on if for no other reason than the fact that it looks like they used actual gameplay footage (At least some) in that promo vid. Looks interesting. 

this come after TOR ? cuz it looks better, in gameplay and graphics i mean.

Can't wait, been looking for a good sci fi type mmo, old republic just looks a bit too cartoony so far. Hope this game will have such things as space combat, i loved the game, well... both games, but warhammer online was like getting dumped and mugged of my dreams at the same time. Hope the company who is working on this can accomplish much.
