Review: Star Legends
One of the growing trends in MMO development these days is the increasing presence of mobile MMOs. In our latest review, we take a look at Spacetime Studios' Star Legends: The Black Chronicles from every conceivable angle.

Gameplay in Star Legends is designed for three to five minute play sessions as their concept was get people in and out of games easily, so the game revolves around quests and dungeon levels; i.e. clearing dungeon levels and heading to the next. The Space Age theme helps with the immersion as you use transporters from the main hub to reach the various planets and a graphic of a spaceship shows in the loading screen. Or you simply access the sector map which provides level recommendations and the ability to join or create a game.

TERA: Review-in-Progress - Part One
MMORPG.com is committed to giving our readers the best and most informative reviews of today's hottest MMOs. With that in mind, we're taking a new tack with TERA and giving it a multiple week timetable for review. In today's installment, we take our first baby steps into TERA and give you our thoughts about the game.

Now, let me tell you something: I didn't find myself overly fond of TERA in its earlier beta tests. I enjoyed the combat, but found myself tired of the questing early on. But after this past weekend's Open Beta? Well, I'm level 21, I've run Bastion of Lok several times with random groups and guild mates, can tank like a pro, and I've spent all my money leveling Alchemy to make helpful potions for solo-Bill. I'd say I'm finding myself quite attached to my Amani Lancer, and it just goes to show you what the right class and keeping an open mind with a new MMO can do.

Game of the Week
TERA is an upcoming 3D fantasy MMORPG. TERA intends to set itself apart with its lack of targeting, giving players full control over each move instead of targeting or hotkeys, emphasizing skills in combat. Additionally, the world will not be instanced, placing all players in the same space. This is also significant since player influence will play a huge role in shaping both Tera's economy and its community.

There are set to be six races, with eight classes to choose from, each locked in an ongoing war to protect his or her kingdom.

TERA recently concluded its head start event and is set to launch this week Tuesday, May 1st.
