Cartoon Network World Premier: Maldark - Conqueror of Worlds
In the movie Level Up, Maldark is released from an imaginary MMO into the real world. Four friends fight real world battles to conquer Maldark. The game Maldark: Conqueror of Worlds is based on the "MMO" the friends are playing.

Similar to the game featured in the movie, players take on one of three classes and navigate a dynamic labyrinthine environment. Players will battle 40+ monsters and earn treasure completing quests across 30 dungeon levels, defeating each boss through entertaining and engaging game-play. “Maldark: Conqueror of Worlds” features voice over from the cast and quests from the writers of Level Up the movie.

It's not about an actual MMO.
If the excuse is that it's because the game is based on the MMO from the movie that's not a very good one...
You also added "players" two times in a row so you might want to fix that.
The movie is what has captured our attention and the game based on the movie is interesting as well. Given that Maldark is the imaginary MMO the actors play in the movie, it's of interest to us.While the game is a single player game, it is designed specifically to give players the look and feel of an MMO.
Personally, I like it. The whole premise of the movie is intriguing. Imagine the havoc that, say, Deathwing would bring to the world if he were unleashed in real life. It just brings such interesting thoughts to mind. :)

I waaaant *smileyface* ! I'm quite keen on how that'll work out, and I really wanna see that movie too! It's a very interesting concept to me, making a game from a film as opposed to a game about a film.
Looks like Baldur's Gate with WoW graphics. It'll probably be fun for a bit.
I saw a promo for this movie a week ago and thought it actually looked kind of cool. Obviously the movie is aimed at young adults, but I may even check it out :)
