This week, we will look back at a review of the same game. Back on May the 10th of this year (2005), Richard Duffek took a good, long look at The Matrix Online. Duffek gave the game a 7.3, while you, our readers, have given the game a 7.5. Here are a few examples from the article: If you've never heard of the matrix then you must have been living the last several years under a rock. And not just any rock, a rock on the dark side of the moon. The Matrix trilogy of movies have caused more of a stir than just about anything released in a long while that didn't have "Episode #" in the title. The graphics for the most part are very well done. The Matrix Online makes it very easy for a person who wants to Role Play their character to do so. In my opinion it just didn't have the depth to keep me playing long term. Overall The Matrix Online seems to fall into that "You either love it or hate it" category. Take a look at the article, here. So what do YOU think? What's YOUR answer? After all, logic and language tell us that this word simply does not exist. So, where does it come from? Well, from all accounts, it seems as though we owe this word of the configuration of a keyboard. One story of the origin of this word springs from World of Warcraft, where a developer was supposed to type the word "owned". Unfortunately, with a slight slip of the finger, the "P" was pressed instead of the "O", and the rest is history. The term itself means either to own, to dominate, to totally defeat, to win. Please, gives us some linguistic suggestions! click here | | | | |
