2006 Reader's Choice Award Winners

After over a month and two rounds of voting, the results are in. This year saw a pitched battle between CCP's EVE Online and World of Warcraft in a number of categories as more than 60,000 votes were cast in the nomination and final voting rounds.

Reader's Choice Favorite PvP: EVE Online

The apparently unstoppable juggernaut that is EVE Online takes home another award from our members. This time, the game is being recognized for its excellent Player vs. Player experience.

EVE Online, on their way to a repeat award in this category, took 74% of the voting away from their 2006 rival World of Warcraft (26%).

This category asked members to consider the underlying mechanics, the ways the game encourages fun PvP, performance and obviously their own personal opinions.
