Shadowbane Asia Closing

En-Tranz, the company running Shadowbane's Asian servers, has announced that they will no longer be hosting Shadowbane: The Lost Kingdom due to financial issues.  The final date of En-Tranz' hosting will be July 31.

Over the course of the past six months, it has become increasingly more difficult for En-Tranz to justify the financial burden of publishing Shadowbane: The Lost Kingdom. As such, we are sad to announce the closing down of the Shadowbane servers on July 31, 2004. This is not a decision we have made lightly, as we all had very high hopes for Shadowbane when we first announced the signing between En-Tranz and Wolfpack. Unfortunately, three years and two development teams later, En-Tranz can no longer continue to support Shadowbane throughout Asia in the manner it requires to be truly successful.

We'd like to thank all of our players for sticking with us this long - the game couldn't have made it this far without you. We've had some incredible times, from the early days of beta, to the truly massive wars that occurred on all servers - and we're glad you all got to be part of this journey.

For myself, and the rest of the staff here at En-Tranz (both past and present), I bid you all a sad farewell. Please stay tuned to this website for more announcements in the coming weeks regarding the future hosting of Shadowbane in Asia.

Sincerely,
Tenspot

The last line leaves the door open for another partner to assume hosting the Asian Shadowbane servers.  Hopefully, for SB Players in the Far East, Wolfpack will be able to find a new Asian host.
