Anima Allocation Allows You to Customize Your Character to Your Heart's Content

The Secret World Legends site has been updated with an interesting new post to introduce players to the new Anima Allocation system. Starting at level 20, players will be able to customize and modify stats in order to fulfill the role they see themselves in, but with minute tweaks to offer more utility.

The interface presents as a triangle with Damage, Healing and Survivability at each corner. Players can drag a cursor within the triangle to alter anima according to where it is placed. "For example, if you want to be in a role where you want sturdiness, but still a moderate amount of damage, you can drag the slider towards the bottom corner for additional Health and Protection". Players will also be able to see exactly how the stat changes will appear in real time. It's possible to look them over before committing them.

This is awesome too: "It costs *nothing* to play around with your stats and commit changes; one of the big design goals of this system is to allow you to experiment with your stats to your heart's content! The only limitation is that you can't change your stats while in combat".

In addition, you can also save Anima Allocations in a build manager in order to quickly and efficiently swap between them.

Lastly, Talismans have been overhauled to reflect the new Anima Allocation System. Based on your current allocation, Talismans will now have Power Rating (rather than having Attack / Healing / Protection) that converts to Hit Points, Attack Rating, Heal Rating or Protection based on how a player has allocated Anima.

It's an interesting new system and you can learn more details by visiting the Secret World Legends site.

You can also check up on the most recent patch notes or find out about other quality of life improvements in this patch.

Thanks, Dragnelus!
