Old School RuneScape players are being invited to try out what the developers are calling the "most difficult solo PvE challenge to date". Called the Inferno, the challenge sends players to Mo Ul Rek to fight more and more difficult and numerous monsters that come at players in waves. Once all have been defeated, TKal-Zuk, the ultimate boss of Inferno, makes his appearance.
Those who have the determination to conquer the Inferno, will be rewarded the Infernal cape. This cape is the new best-in-slot melee cape, and wearing it is a true status symbol in Gielinor. In addition, the first player to obtain the cape will be rewarded with an all-expenses paid trip to RuneFest, RuneScape’s annual fan fest, as well as lifetime membership, and an in-real-life Infernal cape. The race is on, and the stakes have never been higher.
