When will I get to actually hammer on a sword myself and shape and craft it realisticallY? Thats when I'll care.

so you're only playing mmorpgs where you can actually swing your weapon in any direction you want and see the blood spill where you actually did cut your enemy, mmorpgs where you have to evade/block/parry every attack performed on you by placing your body/shield/weapon at the right position?

no i don't like crafting either, no this doesn't have to do anything with aion, your statement is just weird.

    • uhm to the emote thing:

cox also has an emote list and i am sure there are other mmorpgs that do too, there are actually people who rather have a list of them as an alternative to directly type in the command. whether you have to type /dance or /e dance has certainly nothing to do with the existence of an emote list or an xbox version, it's simply a difference in parsing inputs, there are other mmorpgs that also do it with an /e, there are sometimes alias's like :dance for /e dance and stuff like that, it's all about how you feel it makes most sense to parse the input data.

When the Chaos guy goes to destroy some building, he literally kneels down, a timer bar appears on the screen, fills to the right and then the building explodes. Minus the building exploding, this is just like WoW.
The proportioning of the characters even looks identical. The aesthetics are like a slightly upgraded WoW.

The huge "TARGET IS DEAD" message that pops up on the screen makes this game seem like it is going to be even more easy mode than WoW is.

Sigh...I...I just don't know what to do anymore...

I guess you haven't played anything but WoW because everything you mentioned has been in MMOs before WoW.

Shocker I know, WoW wasn't the first MMO in the world.

I'm glad every thread on this forum is filled with assumptuous pricks, like you. My first MMO was UO, back when UO and EQ fans still had a rivalry.

Not everything I mentioned is something that was done before WoW came out and you can't tell me that those videos don't remind you of WoW in almost every single aspect.

i'll go through this point by point:

      - map/radar top right corner is the most common place where minimaps/radars are in any kind of games
      - player's energy bars at the top left is the standard in practically any mmorpg to date
      - enemy bar right beside player bar, standard because you want to see both when fighting
      - abilities in a tool bar at the bottom of the screen, standard in almost every mmorpg to date
      - chat window on the bottom is standard in almost every mmorpg to date as well

kneeling down is an old animation and has not been invented by wow, the same for timers.

proportions of war date back to whenever warhammer (yes the tabletop) started up. it does not have the same proportions as wow, wow has the same ones as wh.

and those were all your points, none first implemented with wow, yes everything you mentioned has been done before wow, discussion is pointless, you are simply wrong.

and no i won't play war, never wanted to, never will want to.
