To KyleRan:
I guess you have the wrong idea about jobs in ER. Your job isn't a warrior, a warlock, or anything of the sort. It is a job to directly hinder or benefit the community via player interaction and use of skills. There will also be more "jobs" as you say than in WoW. They are already looking into multiple jobs just to heal other people and their equipment.
Too Boognish:
Yes they are going to be trying to appeal to a certain group of players, but it isn't going to appeal to all players. This is mostly attracting AO, SWG, PS, N2, and other players from the scifi-based MMO's. It is also directed to having even people who can't play hours a day to still have a part in ER with the offline advancement. To be profitable they are going to try and get enough players to make their efforts worth it but yes, they are targeting a select group of players.

man i was looking forward to this one then i read on the fourms that its gonna have open pvp now ive lost all intrest
What is wrong with open PvP?
because im tired of bunny hopping leet speakers clone camping and gankfesting everywhere while someone is trying to relax and play a game
That is a good point, but games like that are just poorly designed.
Open PvP is really the only real lasting end game content a game can have except resource grinds, item grinds, or mail man quests.
There are things that can be done about clone camping and player camping in general. Stealth is the easiest one. Not letting players track enemy players on their maps or radar. Not showing enemy players names above their heads like a big neon sign. Making cloning stations faction based and heavily defended by NPCs and gun towers. Placing player bounties on PKers. Introducing a political system into the game that encourages or discourages killing certain players in certain areas.
Maybe you can think of a few too?
ER is using Territory Control as the endgame. It can be compared to WoW raids without instancing and serving an actual purpose since resources are supplied by the guild of the conquered territory. It puts WoW engame to shame.
MS has released two new soundtracks for the Sal Vitas and Industrial Area zones. The link to the newspage on mmorpg.com is:
