• • My 2cents on Stealth /No stealth (For what its worth)

  • Stealth offers sooo much more potential for the PVP not only are they good for a ambush but also defending like using a caster as bait and then when they attack the stealth guy stuns them and the cast runs way and nukes em. It would be a damn shame not to have them in the game and I believe in the end they'll make it into there otherwise I doubt the PVP will be as popular as it could be. People who moan abotu stealth just can't play their class properly, In WOW every class can easily counter a Rogue or Druid but you just have to play well.

    Stealths strength is to catch you off guard but if you're prepared then they suddenly are very weak. It's like the spy in TF2 if you see him before he stealths then he has no chance.

  • I don't mind if they're unlockable through a quest or reward or something... just give you something else to do.

  • Problem I have with Vista is theres like 20 different versions, if they just released like 1 or 2 versions for a cheap price then i'd be happy but atm the cheap versions are gimped and the expensive versions just arn't worth the price. Windows XP works fine for me and I don't have to pay for it and frigging I don't want to use a buggy OS which is a resource hog and offers no performance boost in games.

    DX10 I see no difference in against DX9 games because all they've done so far like in Crysis have just disabled things for DX9 to make you upgrade. However if you go into the config and enable very high then it looks esactly the same as the DX10 version. In gears of war they've disabled AA for DX9 to make you upgrade to Vista to use DX10 to be able to enable it.......

    Just a scam tbh and I know how to get around it so what's the point of buying into it.
    
    
    + Before Windows XP a new OS and DX came out every year like so I know if i buy Vista then DX11 and Windows Vienna will come out a month later lol.

I assume from the "why bother to play the single-player mode" comment that you can pretty much play it through solo even if you are in multiplayer mode? Is that correct?     The biggest turnoff for this game (for me, that is) is that it looks unremittingly grim, gray, bleak, and depressing. I think that would kind of old for me pretty quickly.

    
    It was my understanding that this was a solo game but with also an online component?

    
    You don't want to play solo though as the fun part of the game is the multiplayer.

  • Lets not blame casual players because I don't believe they ever played SWG. The problem is SWG was released a buggy mess and it was soooo broken the game got bad reviews and didn't have the sub base they were wanting. The game was starting to get better until Jedi got put in and then it all started going down hill from there.... The problem is SOE and LA are completly useless and had no clue how to run this game.

    
    I wish Raph Koster stayed in the team because he had the same vision as all the fans who were playing. Now this vision launched pretty bad but if they kept fixing the problems and releasing more content then the game could have been a great success by now and known for being a complete mmorpg based on the Star Wars universe.... Instead it's the joke of the genre.
