Good point from above poster...I have a solution! Make the quests longer!....much longer and make them read all of it:) so you actually gain experience through reading, I love this, i should be getting payed for my ideas!
Nice point Jessics and that is what I think people seem to want these days, a fast-food type mmo. As for me I want atmospere. I want awesome views and hidden paths to explore. I want great sound and epic battles. If in such an enviroment you find something lacking then try roleplaying. An mmo gives you a world to play in and adventure and if you rush through it you might miss the point, as Bruce Lee once said, "Don't stare at the finger or you miss all that heavenly glory"
I have to say Druchii your coming across as a real jerk and not doing yourself any favours. To suggest only people with high res and powerfull computer graphic rendering are good enough to post screenshots and share their game experence is quite pathetic. Grow up lad!
Well its annoying when the youngsters dont appriciate where the genre came from:) but still a few things to do: support games companies that provide a dedicated roleplay server (and use the rp server) and point and prod with fingers or weapons anyone that doesnt rp. that should sort the men from the boys.
I imagine a lot of us agree with you on this point, i am a bit drawn out on the fantasy genre and really look to some nice space mmo. I really think WAR missed the boat here. They could have created an awesome game and developed the space mmo PvP with a MMO 40,000. I would so love to play an Eldar or an awesome Space Marine or Terminator, I think that the World of Starcraft will be the ones to set the stage again and we will see a repeat of history. Anyway i have a little hope for Earthrise as it sounds like a Fallout MMO which would be a nice change.
Anyone remender the table top role play game called EarthDawn...thats a game I would love to see as a mmo, ...you never know:)
Would you rather see a game release pushed back a year or have the game release witha few bugs that will be fixed?
