I have read somewhere that there will be a large patch (on the order of 2-3 gigabytes) when the game goes live. Is this only for those running the OB client, or will an installed client from retail CD also have to download and apply this patch? If so, this kinda blows. I would hate to buy the game, get home and install it all ready to play, only to have to wait several hours for the game to patch (yeah I know - my IP sux).
Not the end of the world, but just wondering.
I was at GenCon and had a look at the game (wasn't able to get my hands on it as so many others were playing it). The thing that struck me the most was the graphic quality. They seem to have gone with a more cartoonish/comic book look and feel with bright colors and characters outlined with a subtle black line. To me the graphics looked pretty ugly, and I was immediately turned off by them. Some may like this look, but I was hoping for something more along the lines of CoH or CoV. I was really looking forward to this game, but I'm not sure that I can get past having to stare at graphics that just look so cartoonish and to me unappealing.
