They are quite verbal on the official new forums for AOC
http://forums-us.ageofconan.com for the US
http://forums-eu.ageofconan.com for the Europeans
Some things Ive picked up. Highest lvls are upper 40s. 47 but its prolly already changed.
Overall everyone is happy though some are having fps issues prolly due to older systems not up to par.
FFAP PVP has become a gank fest. This doesnt surprise me and will only get worse come official release. There is no system in place to stop spawn camping or load screen camping. At least not in the EA. there may be a last minute patch to fix these issues

From my understanding it's completely EA only and whoever, preordered or not, tries to make an account you cannot get in. I'm a preorder and I can't get my little fingers into that forum no matter what I try!
I updated my forum login from my account page at http://register.ageofconan.com and after about 20 minutes I was able to log in to the EU forums.
A thread on the EU forums states that user names and passwords from the old forums won't work anymore, that the forum name is linked to the game account and that it is not possible (anymore) to have multiple forum accounts.
It would be rather amusing now if I should discover that I actually have EA. But my purchase history is empty so I guess that is not the case.
Also Note I had a retail key entered into my account
Yes Sex sells and has for a long time, Also the combat system is different enough for those who think they have fps pwnin skills to just in with both feet. The fatalities and decapitation are also huge draws.
In the past mmorgps have been fairly bland in these aspects. The majority of the AOC Fan boys have themselves convinced this is the second coming in terms of games.
So in conclusion
Yes Sex and Violence in Video Games sell. Just look at the GTA series and it was the logical thing for this to transition into MMORPGs. Unfortunately the M rating won't keep lil Billy No friends from ruining everyones experience. I know 18 is old enough to play a Mature game. But IMO most 18yrs need as ass whopping cause the generation of 18yrs out there now are from the Parents that don't spank their kids.
So they don't have any respect for anyone. Thus they are legally consider mature but very immature socially.

Because the "Obviously" unsafe ladder should not have been available for the employee to use. It is the employers responsibility by law to ensure the equipment his employees are going to be using are in good working condition by having regular inspections. If the employer can provide proof of regular inspections having taken place then he is less liable. However workers compensation must be awarded to the employee as long he was performing regular job duties.
Let m try to explain to you...
When I say, for instance...
"Fall off an obviously unsafe ladder at work that you used because you couldnt be arsed to get a decent one and noone told you not to? Cry and blame your boss..."
...I am obviously saying that when we suffer due to our own lack of effort to protect ourselves we have no right to blame anyone else but ourselves.
I am not suggesting we don't support people's rights, but being blameless, even when you are to blame, isnt a 'right'. Not to me anyhow.
Noone took 'advantage' of anyone here. Funcom put the information out there. The whiners complaining about this just couldnt be bothered to look at it. End of story.
Honestly... it's poltical correctness to the point of crippling our responsibilities to us and those around us as adults. Seeing as the rating on this game in a 'Mature', I would expect it's users to be able to accountable for their own actions.
I don't expect to change anyone's mindset in a forum, so I won't post on this point past this one. It's an alien way of thinking to me though I must say.
The ladder example doent fit this situation. There have been many evidences showing marketing materials without disclaimers for limited access. This is text book bait and switch tactics.

However the last patch had different results. Some that had no problems before experienced client instability after the patch.

Funcom is now moderating complaint threads out of the forums. Had two of mine magically dissapear after I was warned by a mod to stop complaining about the Early Access Key. And no I did not use abusive language/profanity etc. All I can say is that I hope this bites them in the rear.
I ended up voting with my wallet and am not going to be playing the game. Beta and company garbage was enough for me.
Btw... there is a very clear reason why they limited the early access. They are not ready server wise for the large group of folks coming. If they were ready they would not have thrown away all the customers they just lost and the damage done to the retail end. who in thier right mind would self sabotage themselves like this?
Failed on Conspiracy Theory 101, Open Beta worked Fine, so they are ready server wise. You are angry about how funcom managed the Early Access, you are on your right to buy with your wallet. I too think they made it in a mistaken way.
It should be interesting to see how EA pans out and if the forums blow up with client/servers problems during the pre-gold stage
