  • Well, at least you didnt bash in your response. I may move on as well sometime myself. But right now my quest log is full. Not saying there is no grind past 48, cause I dont know. What Im saying is it aint that dern bad. Yes, I get bored with MMO's, but I change to another, get bored with that and move to an old one or a new one. For me it has been WoW to CoH, to AA, to EQ2, to CoH, to DDO, to WoW, to LotRO, to EQ2, to DDO, to LotRO, to AoC, etc.

  • Yes, AoC has problems. Yes, I have crashed in the middle of a fight. Ye, I get annoyed at the loading times. But, after all that, it is still a fun game (at least so far to lvl 48). Keep in mind I am a casual player on a PvP server, and I don't look at the game as a job or grind. I just need a few hours of engaging fun on the weekends. I aint looking for anything groundbreaking, in fact, I like it simple. Maybe thats why I also like LotRO as well. I hope the dudes at funcom give the naysayers what they want, but I doubt it. There is no need, however, to constantly bash the dern game. If it aint fun for you, move on! Is there any game to please all? Absolutly not. But what do I know, I like most of them, even WoW (For a short time) and I really enjoyed AA.

  • I only have one requirement in a MMO. Fun. If I am having fun, I play. If I'm not, I move on. I try not to put any games down because I don't like them. I have played WoW, and i understand why it is so popular. Anyone with even a 5 year old computer can run it. And to many it is fun. I like most MMo's, some more than others. When Auto Assault came out, I really enjoyed it because it was different, but others saw it as a single player driving game. I did have fun playing it, but not enough people did, so It was shut down. My point is, with all of its flaws, AoC is fun to me, and I have the same issues that most have with the game. Crashes, bugs, etc. But when I crash, I go get a soda or a brew, try to log in again, and continue. If I cant play, I wait until I can and dont let it ruin my day. So, I will continue to play the game until it is no longer fun. That may be next week, or 6 months from now.

    My question to all though is will the class of the fabled King Conan be the FOTM?  Regardless of the server is every 4th person you meet a barbarian?

     I have seen a good bit of Barbarians, but alot of Conquerers and Assasins. Guardians and Demonologists seem to be few.
