    i might just hold on save up for a nice laptop or something, the monitor has 2ms respons im using a 22 inch 5 ms right now wide

  • Ok so i somehow without realizing saved up 580, and i wanna upgrade my pc but i cant think of any logical upgrades. My system isnt super hardcore as i really dont want it to be but it is midrange , i can run age of conan on high settings smoothly even with the ATI/AMD bugs.

     

    My system:

    Mother Board : MSI K9A2 Platinum AM2+/AM2 AMD 790FX ATX AMD Motherboard

    Cpu : AMD AM2 Black Edition 2.6 5000+

    Gpu : 2x Saphire Radeon HD 2900 Pro ( OC'd to extreme clock speeds)

    Ram : G,Skill 2x 2GB pc2 6400

    Case : Thermal Take Armor Full

    PSU : Zalman 850 continuous energy modular heatpipe cooled

    Zero Therm UFO heatsink

    Os - windows XP Pro , soon to be Vista Ultimate

     

    Possible upgrades / wants (none of these i can justify)

    from 2900 xts to 3870 (i only gain dx 10.1 in Vista Sp1)

    Quad core phenom ( not needed in todays games really, Inexpensive upgrade when its ready)

    HDMI 24 inch moniter, but idk what i would do with this other then my 360 which my ocmputer desk wont allow me to do that very easily.

     

    ANY logical help would be greatly appreciated, thank you

  • OP you sir are insane, Most MMO players are normal people with normal incomes, and another huge percent  are college students to further education students. We do not have mommy and daddy to buy our comps , pay for insurances, health , and all that other fun things...Im a huge pc gamer not just mmo. I do not upgrade every 2 years i prolly change / upgrade 1 peice a year, as it begins to become outdates , this suites my income as a college student going for a second degree very well.

     

    A computer does not by any means make the gamer. Just because you can run on HD graphics does not mean you have the mindset and stragetical thinking. I dont like to flame in anycase , but this post was so ignorant i had to say something. Just by posting something like that makes you the furthest thing from an MMO player. "Try out 2 MMO or more a year" real MMO players find someting they rlly like and stick with for quite awhile. They research games maybe try a free month. But they dont hop all over the place , thats more like a wannabe MMO player.

  • I will be doing everything in the tome, I am a big  person on lore. In wow waiting for BG's when i wasnt retired i would read the books on the table in SW. Without a story what's the point of the RPG going along with the MMO. A story wether bad or good drives the story along. This is why WAR isnt a WoW clone. Theres no killing onyxia and Black temple here. Also Blizzard took Warhammer like settings, Warhammer did not take Blizzards Warcraft settings.

    The game has a story set in stone from the Table top, I have never played it mostly because im a TCG gamer in magic more then a table top player. There fore it makes me even more interested in learning everything i possibly can about WAR. The Tome will make it a simple task to find info that can indeed get rid of sites like wowhead where u get the info.

    If i kill something over and over and am thinking to myself what in goods name are these things its simple just look in my tome.

  • needalife basically hit your post out of the park, I would have said just about the same thing. WAR is going to allow ALL players to get what they need and want, just may be dependent on how long it will take. TIME will be the only difference, for the majority, we will see however how the public quests work at higher levels.
