the game is not getting better if it was going to get better $OE would have rolled all the servers back to the pre-cu.
untill they do $OE will lose and us vets will win as more and more mmos will have to go sandbox after what we have done to kill nge
As for the comment that SWG is getting better, maybe better than 3 months ago, but not better than 3 years ago.

Why does the Sony team play WOW?
The dev downsize still has me scratching my head as well, SOE were the biggest MMO company during the EQ1 days and SWG from 2003-2005 had 75+ devs, I can't see why they can't afford to pay that many devs.
WoW pretty much kills any game in existance, there's practically nothing that can match or beat it yet, give it another decade.
The "text example of how not to run an online game" isn't always followed, Tabula Rasa's devs are still screwing with each of the clsses and they're losing players over it on each patch (they were fine with the release of hybrids, except the sniper rifles needed buffs). Hellgate: London isn't doing so great as well (and isn't that where Tiggs went?).
They aren't outdated? You surely haven't looked at any other games lately have you? The landscape looks pathetic, animations are a retarded hackjob of the old animations, even the "improved" character polys looks worse (and when you turn full shadows on, it messes it up).
City of Heroes is a year younger than SWG, and during issue 7 patch they got a graphics update, what a significant improvement. Tabula Rasa has some of the prettiest MMO graphics around. Can't say much about WoW, too cartoony.
Not that many, but I knew 3 people on Lowca all from the same guild that 100% duped and got perma banned, one of them actually thought it'd be funny to randomly tip 1 mil cr to anyone he saw, which resulted in those people getting banned (but they got lifted shortly). And yeah many crafters were affected when unknowingly doing business with these dupers.
According to the forums thread, it looks like it's going through alphabetical order per hour, most servers' firsts started with an "A".
And I think they did this on purpose to make people waste their frigging time logged on, pretty much another carrot on the stick method. One of the dumbest events I've seen anyways.
How did you discover MMORPG.COM?
