• • Billing dept of xbox live grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr..beware of billing scam

  • Have any of you ever had to talk to them regarding billing charges when you cancel your xbox live sub?

    I called today to cancel both of my sons subs because their xbox broke (burned up). They keep you on hold forever, then you  speak to ppl who's grasp of the english language is limited...then you are informed you will be paying an additional months payment because of "their billing cycle"

    I paid both accounts on 4/28 and other one 4/29..I called today  to cancel. In my checking account I am still under the 30days but they came up with this that their billing date is on the 25th . I said well its still under the 30 days..then they say even though I pay on 28th and 29th that my sons accounts are different days. I'm like what the heck?? Its a con job I say  to rob kids and their parents of one more month. If I were you guys..I would call up and ask when your "official" billing date is and what date you actually get billed to your cc company.

    I had intentions of buying another in thenext month or two but no way will I after dealing with these two ppl. Even the manager (supervisor) was as dim as first guy. I guess I will invest instead in psp. For as much as the 360 cost you wouldthink it would last longer than 1 1/2yrs anyway.

    So beware everyone and find out your billing dates and watch their billing on your cc like hawks

  • Sci fi mmo's have been few and far between. Most are the fantasy based games which are ok but so many are afraid to break out of the mold.

    I am disappointed in Conan, for instance, that in order to craft, you HAVE to do combat...DOH. Why can't any mmo's break the mold and allow strictly crafter characters? Not everyone wants to bash and slash all the time. I am hoping stargate has support professions that will break this cycle.

    That was the main thing that drew me to swg originally, before they messed it all up, was the seperate crafting/entertaining professions. I loved that out of the box type new game. And it worked till they decided to change so much stuff, anyhoo...here's hoping SGW shows individuality too along with being a hot sci fi game. I have been sci fi fan back to original star trek lol.

  •  Here's hoping I get in lol. I can't wait and just for it to be in the same year as possible release is exciting enough. Won't it be a nice christmas pressie
