I think the immature and ignorant people will drop a lot when retail hits the shelves, but in any game it'll never be totally gone. Theres too many immature adults for that. Not only that, but a lot of kids can also get any game they want because their parents don't pay attention to what they play. I also heard about the game being downloadable, meaning kids might just be able to lie about their age in some question form and still get the game.
Although, like said before, let's not judge the community before we've played retail for like a week or two. And again after a month or two.
just like in every other game that just started there are imbalances. We shouldn't look at those at the moment but instead look at what they will do about it.
or at least a high 7 series video card. I run AoC on medium setting with e6600 duo core CPU (2.4 gig), 2 gig ram, and an ati radeon 2600XT video card.
You might be able to run it on low setting. But I wouldn't count on it with that setup. Maybe upgrade to a dual core CPU and then try it.
EDIT:
Ok, you definitely need a better video card than that. You probably can't even run it on low setting with a 2.6gig CPU and a 6 series geforce card.
Thanks for the great replies and I'm glad I gave a good review. It's my first for any game so far. ^^;;
Anyway I can understand that this game isn't for everyone. It brings some new things and keeps to some old concepts as well, and some people don't like the new things that they added. But like said before, I can also see this game having a good playerbase. Maybe WoW will stop dominating the mmo market almost completely now. :P
How do you feel about advertising inside games?
