  • It could also be issues with your video card and Nvidia has been really crappy with drivers the last 4-6 months.  One reason I left and went to ATI and never regret it since.

  • Another Darkfall baby, wow, how each new one looks exactly the same.

     

    Get a grip on reality, Darkfall is coming out about the same time as Duke Nukem and will most assuredly be a hit if it is any good.  BUUUUUUUT, the thing is that it has been in production for so long and with no real beta testing so it MOST ASSUREDLY looks to be a train wreck waiting to happen as you can not test the multitudes of computer configurations with a small group of "professional" testers or even AI Bots.

     

     

    AND do you realize that by coming here, creating an account, and posting on a Darkfall forum about trolls is saying "Kettle meet Pot" and you are guilty of being an even bigger troll by doing so.

  • De Valos, being in the management business for many years myself I know that your statement that you are separating your personal opinion from your affiliation with Funcom just doesn't work like that.  You are a representattive on Funcom plain and simple, anything you do and say will reflect on Funcom as you are a known employee of Funcom and thus a representative.

     

    Your attitude and reactions to the OP are unprofessional in all manners and damages the waining credibility of Funcom on the eyes of the gaming world.  At one point saying it may take a few days to solve it, to next saying "ALL" cases have been solved and he must have been cheating IS DISCUSSING HIS PRIVATE information as you are a representative of the company and CAN NOT even give opinionated answers like this.  You have given the community the appearance that Funcom is not a reputable company, along with the actions they have taken recently.  From looking at all the postings, it appears this "Bug" WAS known about even before EA, yet Funcom proceeded to continue the release without fixing it.  This is not the fault of the players, but the fault of Funcom and to ban players for your own doings is sadly disappointing and just as bad as the poorly launched Anarcy Online. 

     

    I would expect major repercussions from this whole affair and it will cost Funcom greatly,  and the attitudes and actions of its representatives such as you, will also greatly affect its reputation among the gaming community.

     

    Some may not think that the community of a site like this would affect a game, but remember there are over 800k members here and many who just come here and don't even join up.  With as bad as this ordeal has been, that is no small number to influence.  Remember 1 bad comment or experience will spread to 10, and 1 good comment or experience will spread to 1 other.  This is a common experience in customer service.

• • White Lion Confirmed as last HE class, customisable lion pets.

  • One thing I noticed is the fact that you won't have any choices of pets or anything, simply a limited customizable Lion.  How lame is that, you people cry about how much you hate WoW hunters, but you didn't get a free pet and were not constrained to 1 pet either.  You went out and tamed your own pet and made it your own.  The Hunter in WAR isn't what I would even call a true pet class, as you simply level, get your Lion and have very few options to customize it to how you want it to look.

     

    Matter of fact, most of WAR is this way, you have very few options to customize your characters with items and it appears they want to go the trend of most Asian type games and everyone will basically look alike with very few changes.  Great game there.

• • PVP not PGP...STOP spawn camping.

  • From what I understand you get PVP experience, right?  Not sure how it works out, but this to me would be promotiing ganking like crazy because to level in PVP you have to kill players.  I am holding out for now, but hope this issue is settled because I remember how it was in WoW with the corpse and GY camping on PvP servers.
