  • I have tried to stay away from the forums about this game in the past because i didnt have the computer to run the game.  I just built my comp the other day and  i loaded up the game and started to play. I love the game at the moment but i noticed one thing.

    No one seems to use the chat. at first i thought it was just broken. Then i tested it, it works. but why dont people talk?

    just fyi im on an RP server

    ya im looking at a AMD 3.0 dual core with 8800gt vidio card. but it sounds like she aint crashing to the desktop though, always a good thing

  • ya thats that i did for DAoC, as well as turning off tons of other stuff lol. Anyway thanks for the info. I always hated the Lag death from DAoC and i hoped War would run better.

  • I have not been able to play yet cause my comp is way outdated, but have one on the way (YAY). I remember my days in DAoC and all the lag you got and tweeking you'd have to do while in RvR just so you could play without crashing to the desktop lol.

    I was wondering if Warhammer was the same way or is it a lot smoother?

  • I would recement that you start with Vanguard if you liked Oblivion and its openness. EQ2 is kind of a hard MMO to get into IMO because at higher lvls it forces you to farm coin for the Master lvl spells and skills. Vanguard is more solo friendly and has tons of great things to explore. It has come a long way since it first came out as far as the bugs but i would still recomend you try the free trial. be warned though, its something like 19 gigs so the DL is going to take a long time and make sure you have enough hard drive space. just my opinions, i would never buy a sub to an MMO without trying the free trail first.
