actually, its not just darkfall, if you go through most threads it happens more often than not, which is a shame because some really good intelligent conversations get laid off to the wayside replaced by the bickering and insults.
if its a computer you already have and not one your building , it probably had a 256 already built in, i would have bought a 512. if your have at least 2 gigs of memory your should be ok, i just wouldnt set the graphics too high. just play around with the settings in game until your find a setting thats playable for you
Ok, i laughed so much my lunch almost came back up.
the thing that scares me about a game completely controlled by the players is this, the players. take for instance economies in other mmo's that are pretty much run by the players. they go from ok to bad to worse. people cant even run the real world properly, and thats just the adults, now throw the youth in with equal power and your gonna have a bigger mess. people cant even agree on anything in the forums, now put all these people in the same game and watch what happens. if and when darkfall comes out i will probably play it. i will be the monk alone up in the hills watching the chaos that ensues below.
I liked eve for the month that i played it. The biggest turn off for me was the community, after watching a month of players bashing and belittleing noobs with legit questions rather than trying to help was too much. which in turn left me to my own trying to learn in fear of asking anything without recieving the same treatment. i am not saying that all of the community was at fault. but one can only take and see so much before coming to the decision that if the arrogant fools wish to be all by themselves in the vast emptyness of space i would be more than happy to oblidge them.
Would you rather see a game release pushed back a year or have the game release witha few bugs that will be fixed?
