• • so which is the best combat system in a mmo?

  • WOW has the best mechanics, both in combat and spell system, in my opinion.

    Now get rid of the cartoonish joke world and put WOW mechanics into a serious world with serious graphics, and that would be one awesome game.

    DAOC was a great and legendary game, and one I will always remember for its atmosphere and excellent armor and weapons graphics.

    However, you are probably correct in your assessment.  The game is old and does nothing really that Warhammer purports to do better.  I just hope Vanguard goes down the toilet first.  DAOC is too regal a game to fall before Van-crap falls.

    Five people playing?  Really?  Last time I logged on, I saw two.  Yep, just two.  And I was running around through a city and outlying area.

  • Want to know what's also killing RP'ing in games?  Vent; that headset real-talk stuff.  I find that when Vent is on, usually during raids, the raid-leader is acting the part of a football coach giving specific directions to the rest of the raid-team. 

    Now this may not digress into such when playing in a friendly group or 6 or less, but in a 20 man raid, it's like you're watching an orchestrated NFL game.

    so there is no right answer.

    Maybe it was my fault for asking the questions I did,

    but WoW fanatics need to stop being absolute nerds and bumming out a game, and accept that people may not like WoW, and other games such as WAR will undoubtably sway players.

    I'd listen to a "biased" player of a game way before I'd listen to an "employee in disguise" who violently defends the game.  But sure, go ahead and try for yourself.  I was just trying offer helpful advice.
