    • Why don't You want to raid any longer in MMO?
    • To the OP and everyone else who feel the same way he does.

IF YOU DON'T LIKE TO RAID, THEN WHY ARE YOU PLAYING MMORPG'S???? TAKE YOUR COMPLAINT'S AND GO PLAY SOMETHING ELSE.

RAIDING IS WHAT DEFINE'S MMO'S THE GOOD MMORPG'S WILL ALWAYS HAVE RAIDING AS IT'S A MAJOR PART OF THE GAME. MMO'S WITH ABSOLUTELY NO RAIDING WILL ALWAYS BE CONSIDERED AS A LESSER MMO. YOUR WELCOME TO PLAY THOSE GAMES.

    • Poll: Give AoC a Grade
    • overall, I give AoC a D. The only reason the game isn't a FFFFF FAILURE is because of how good the graphics are. The reason this game does not score a higher grade is due to the fact this game is NOT your typical MMORPG. It plays like a structured single player RPG that makes you pay 15 dollars to play. Barely any MMO grouping elements are in this game. U could do EVERYTHIGN solo, even dungeons. To me, thats not very MMO like at all. There's not much interaction with players unless your in a guild or play with friends. Also, ther's waaaaay to many instanced areas. Games like Everquest 2, LOTRO, DAOC, Vanguard, and even WoW are what MMORPG's are supposed to be. AoC falls to short in my eyes, and many other people's eyes.

      Such a disappointment.

    • I got back into EQ2 with the veteran promo they are still running. I also got my cousin and a friend into the game.. I made a alt to take them through places like TD to quest until 20 and so far we're loving it..

The server, "Antonia Bayle" is once again filled with low level players, some are alt's of course, but most are new players.. It almost seems as if the game has been rereleased with all the new people playing now..

I came back to the game a few times now, and this is definitely the most people I've seen in lower level areas since release.

These free promo's and buddy key's are great ideas for those who dont want to waste 15 dollars for something they're not sure they want to play..  It's great marketing to suck people in for free to get a taste, the out of those 3000-5000 people that tried the game out, at least half will be happy enough with the product to subscribe..

It's like crack,,the dealer gives u a couple free tastes, then after your hooked, you keep coming back for more, lol.. :P

for example (wow as my first MMORPG with expansion) : you can buy regular WoW to play the game, but minus new races, lv cap to 60, and old zone Azeroth. You have to buy The burning crusade expansion for 70 lv cap, new races, new crafting, and new zones etc

how does Expansion work in EQ2 ?

Iam playing AoC atm (lv 71 Demonologist),   I decided to play only 1 MMORPG for the last time, but I can't choose which game it is.

I never play EQ2 and Vanguard. Which is better overall, EQ2 or Vanguard ?

      thanks in advance

      Hey Spellcore.

Having played both EQ2 and VG, EQ2 definitely is a better choice for numerous reasons. It's loaded with more content, has much more depth, it's much more polished, more population, and the game is just alot more fun to play.

You only need to purchase the latest expansion, "Rise of Kunark" which includes all the previous expansions in one bundle.

Now, keep in mind both EQ2 and VG play a bit differently than WoW and AoC. Both of those games are very easy to level up. Eq2 actually makes you work a little bit to progress through the game. Of course you can solo to 20 fairly easy, but once u hit 20, doing quests and group dungeon runs are alot more rewarding, loaded with adventure, and the experience flows much better than soloing. Basically what I'm trying to say is, EQ2 and even VG are more of a grouping based MMORPG, whereas AoC and WoW doesn't really require you to group much, less even with AoC.

      Hope i answered your questions.
