  • I really liked this game alot. Started WAR and may come back soon. I kind of miss VSoH. It really was a great game. I was in the middle of getting my swamp armor set together.

    Do you have any idea how much money it costs to keep a prisoner for a month or year? Do you? Again, there is no reason, nothing at all to gain or accomplish by keeping them alive.

     

    They get shelter, entertainment, safety, and food three times a day while oodles of law abiding and wholly superior citizens and people don't. If that isn't a sign of a society with its priorities upside-down, what is? Sorry, I resent it.
     

    
     

    I recall reading somewhere that it costs more to actually execute someone, than to throw them in jail, due to the cost of lawyers, court resources, endless appeals, etc. Not to mention they are usually put under higher security until executed, which again costs more money. So from what ive learned, taxpayers pay more to execute a person, than life in jail. This is highly debated though from what ive seen.

    No society is perfect, but we try, and as for their conditions in jail, id say thats a good thing? They're still human you know, I mean I wouldn't want a loved one to be sent to some hell hole where they are tortured or something.

    Also what if an innocent person is convicted, put to death, and then later its discovered they were in fact innocent? Can't take it back now can we? Not to mention an explanation to the familly is owed.

     

    Correct, it does cost alot more because of the endless appeal processes. However this is military court so they might put a bullet in him quicker. Not sure.

    He is not human he is a monster. Yes he will be put to death sooner then later. The military doesnt have to allow you a steady flow of appeals and can block anything the ACLU tries to throw at them. Also the USMJ is more then fair. I wish we would abolish the jury system and go to a twelve judge panel. There would be no argument of Jury contamination, idiot Jurors or piss poor sentences that did not reflect the crime. Honestly most people with real jobs dont perform Jury duty only idiots go.

  • I am surprised by how close the poll is between Obama and McCain. Figure it would be a land slide for Obama. May be this will be a close race after all.

  • I fucking hate the comb system. If they changed that one thing I would be a lot less critical of this game. It has bugs they always do when they release, but that combat system just sucks balls and always was a bad idea.
