  • Huge metallica fan from the pre-black album days. I must say this is the best album to come out by them since and justice for all from what ive heard so far. Only thing that sucks is James unfortunately wont sound like the James from ...AJFA ever again....../cry

• • Possibly returning but it's been at least 4 years..

  • First I would like to say that since you never got past 46 you missed a shit load of content from 50-75 at the time you left. I myself stopped playing at the end of 05 and will be returning tomorrow. From what Ive read and the answers Ive gotten a bunch has changed. Taken in account you never got to 75, you still have about 4 expansion packs worth of updates to do which still has a ton of people running around knocking them out. Leveling from 1-46 hasnt changed much. People have said that the early lvls are still full of beginners and vets alike. The "grouping and hardships" is still there. Grouping is still as EASY and HARD as it was 4 years ago. From what Ive read there is so much to do after lvl 50 now and still keeps the hardcore "MMO"  in FFXI outside of just leveling. I would say the game is worth coming back to. Leveling seems to have gotten easier over the years but the community from 4 years ago seems to still be there. Earthmother watch over you....><

• • Questions from a returning player...

  • I really havent gotten into the game since I left at the end of 05. My character still exist. I was thinking of coming back, and getting into the game heavily. My highest job is lvl 62 blm and am rank 6. Thing is I didnt even complete my Zilart missions. If I come back will it be hard picking up where I left off (completing ZM and moving to CoP)? Do people still do those missions or have they all moved on? Also does FFXI still see a fare share of new comers? Thanks in advanced.
