  • there is no sticky targeting.You have to aim your attacks ,ranged or not,and you can avoid attacks by running left,right and dodging.

  • Let me respond 1 more time with the OP words.....

     

    You have just watched and AOC video :

    ok, lets put the issue of graphics aside for a min. in the video (many of us know they are crap)

    ok... with the subject of graphics out of the way, everyone else talks about this world changeing game play. Besides a bunch a guys running around in circles in a FFA match like Quake, what did the video really show us?

    1) did it show an awsome game UI system? YES AOCS UI LOOKS BETTER SO IT MUST BE....

    2) did it show PvE quest content? YES they have shown us great pve mobs in videos

    3) did it show an awsome skill system? YES it has feats which are very innovative and not wow/diablo copied

    4) did it show a tons of awsome dungeons? YES you can have as many instanced dungeons as you like.

    5) did it show a great crafting system? YES and how innovative the crafting system is also.

    6) did it show epic enconters with huge in game mobs? YES HUGE MOBS (LIKE CAPS) ARE L33T

    7) did it show lots of really cool gear? YES IT HAS OVER 9000 ITEM SETS

    8) did it show a great guild system? YES YOU CAN BUILT YOUR CITY (in an instance ofc)

    9) did it show player houses or guild halls? YES YOU CAN BUILT YOUR CITY (in an instance ofc)

    10) did it show a cool looking game world with tons of different plants, monsters and different envirments? YES there are many shades of BROWN to satisfy your eyes

    11) did it show awsome partical effects for spells and weapon attacks? YES IT HAS

    12) did it show a new innovative combat system? YES TRUE INNOVATION HERE.

    13) did it show new innovations of any kind? YES WE HAVE THE COMBAT SYSTEM

     

    All the questions above are a "YES" but wai.....

    WHY did aoc failed?????

  • The darkfall video had a purpose.It showed you PVP.

    Pvp is the main strenght of the game,if its fun and stable then what more can a pvp fan ask?

    I believe it will have a normal crafting system in which you will have to press 5 clicks to make something.

    If you need inovation about crafting system then attach wii remote to your pc and smack that anvil down.

     

    Really what more do you need about a basic crafting system?

    the devs promished that all the items in game will be craftable by players,what is that you want more of a crafting system?

     

    About pve and questing,again tell me what divercity have you seen the last 8 years in the mmorpg history?

    Quests will be "go there,kill that" except those there will also exist epic quests about killing monsters big as godzilla and some promised pvp quests.

     

    The skill system is an ffa skill system with maybe a few limitations based on racial abilities.Oblivion like if it helps you think of it.

     

    Dungeons will exist ,be sure of that and there will be alot,I believe that the elevator scene had revealed to you how big they are.

    It didn't show player houses but assume that they are in.And btw why you need a guild hall when you own a whole city? try using LOGIC 101

     

    About queston 10 you must really be blind,or get a girlfriend to help you.

    About 11 particle effects are crap but guess what THEY CAN BE SEEN IN THE VIDEO.So your logic fails.

     

    Innovative combat system you want .Go play age of crap.

    Innovation =/= quality.Btw tell me many mmorpgs that have active blocking?

    About 13 ....Tell me can you name many mmorpgs that offer huge worlds without instances,ffa pvp,full loot,siegable/destructable cities and player housing,naval combat,ffa skill system,active blocking,FPS combat?

    If that is not innovation then what it is?

     

    cant be arse with spelling errors cause i dont give a damn about them,if you cant understand the meaning beside spelling errors then reroll RL.
