I like the way you wrote this review. You should look at getting a part time job doing something along these lines as you seem to have a nack for it.
I'm not nearly far enough into the game to really dispute any of your comments or add much of my own. I will say that I can't stand the EQ2 UI. Some of the work that the modders do is simply amazing. Anywhere from truly artistic designs, to the most simple and feature rich sets I have ever seen. They really do add volumes to the game.
I have not checked out the UI mods for AoC. I am waiting a bit while still exploring the game. Hopefully they made it as easy as EQ2 is to mod. If so, I would just write the UI complaint out the window (even though the company should have taken care of this).
Again, TY for the review.

Another warning for people who think this game is free - in game shop item games are not free - especially when the item shop is expensive you pay more than for mmorpgs with monthly fees:
- second bank bag 69$ (wow i pay monthly less than 15$ for blockbuster mmos)
You can purchase these in Game for in game currency.- + 50% xp scrolls for 3 days 10 $
No need to buy this.- double Mkill bonus 3 days 10$
Classes get double M.Kill skills, also no need to buy this.- Party xp + 50% 3 days 10 $
No need to buy this- double Mkill bonus for party 3 days 10 $
No need to buy this- 18 slot bag for character 30 days 2 $
You can buy this in game for in game money- fishing pole +50% chance 30 days 8.50 $
Never did the fishing game, but again, you get a free pole and you can buy them in game. The extra chance is not needed.
and so on....
pvp/pve items:
These are skill mods that in game skills cover, again not needed to buy.- magic. attack + 30% for 4h 1.30 $
- melee attack + 30% for 4h 1.30 $
- pdef +10 30 days 2.50 $
and so on ...
The infos are from beta players and i saw this thread per accident, thought i post it here..i never ever touch a in game shop item mmorpg again.

There is nothing in the store you have to buy. And most of the people playing the game that I've talked to are against buying stuff from the store. In addition, there are several posts about how useless many of the items in the store are. What we would like to see are preservation stones (make it so when you forge, you fail you don't loose the item) and skill stones (the skills go up t level 5, with these can go up to 7).
So yeah, everything you would want to buy in the store can be bought in game for in game money. In addition, you can sell items from the game for store points that you can then use to buy that stuff if you wanted to (kinda like EVE's GTC).
A game has to make money. Free to play games usually make them with a store or lots of ads. This one went with the store. SOE did the same thing with the EQ2 exchange servers. And it is not the first or will be the last to do similar.

People who post their email and a long introduction in this thread are foolish. Look, there are 59 threads here. People with buddy keys will not fulfill your fantasy of free playing, get a life.
Umm, sure, the long introduction is not really needed; but you are wrong about not getting a buddy key. When they are released, those who have been playing MMO for a while will pass them out. I just got done with a Vangard trial the same way.
In most buddy key threads it works like this. You post your email saying you want a key, when you get one you edit your post saying you got it. Or if you have the key, you say I have 5 keys, and then when you have passed them out, you edit your post saying they are all gone.
I hope that they delete all the buddy key request threads and start a new one when they release the keys.

While I can appreciate your point of view as an unfortunate fact of our time, I have to disagree here. Sure the OP signed up very recently and is probably an employee of the company, I have to say his use of english is very good assuming it is ESL. He did not convert plurals very well, either missing the ' or did not convert the y to an ies. But far from the street walkers of Singapore, Thailand or Korea that you seem to refer to.
In your opinion, what kind of gamer are you?
