    In going with your example of a car sale. Cars are reviewed on safety and performance etc.. But as far as reliability and how it cost effective your purchase is, this can take up to or beyond your first scheduled service. Eg: The car could be great for the first month but then, there may be design flaws, faulty parts, wear and tear etc that come into account. In this regard, MMOs reviewing to more than 1/4 would require too long for most reviewers of games. Even car reviewers don't test the car for that long. It may be an afternoon drive but that doesn't tell you how the car will be in a year.

    As you can see the car sale example just doesn't work.

    Seriously though, people need to stop comparing this game to WoW. WoW has been around for over 3 years and has had many problems along the way that people seem to forget. If you want to compare AoC to WoW as it is now, come back in 3 years. If you didn't take part in the WoW beta then you really can't judge the games at all.

    I doubt they will offer a Xbox 360 version.  My guess is they will go under within 2 months and start layoffs.  They will not have the money or people to do a 360 version.  I hope I am wrong but this game is a mess.  It is actually unbelievable that this is the result of 5 years of development.

    Gamespot has the xbox360 version listed for a Q3 2008 release.

    Anyways, to make a long story short, they fixed it and sold 10 million subs.

    That bug still exists to this day! I think they really need to look at their database design..  :P

  • For those people there is the Xbox 360 version. That way they don't have to worry about configuration problems and lack of PC knowledge.
